Monreagh Dam Dredging

The dredging works at Monreagh Mine involves the removal the sediment from the nominated dredge area in the pond at the site in Miles with the use of our 250mm cutter suction dredge the Nu Discovery.  The dredge will be used to transport the material through a combination of 246 mm (ID) floating and land-based pipeline to the nominated disposal area in the opposite end on the pond.

The Nu Discovery Cutter Suction Dredge has been successfully used for the removal of sand, slimes, and mine tailings.

In harbour and river works, where a variety of natural and dumped materials might be encountered, Neumann dredges have proven their versatility.

Neumann’s extensive dredging experience also makes our dredges highly suited for a variety of material types often encountered in flood prevention and environmental rehabilitation works.

EASILY TRANSPORTED TO SITE:
When dismantled, this unit is transportable in 2 x 40’ open top shipping containers to provide cost effective mobilisation logistics.

The Nu Discovery cutter suction dredge has worked on the following Projects:

  • Canaipa Passage dredging – Channel Dredging,
  • Iluka Boat Harbour Dredging – Channel Dredging,
  • Corrie Channel Dredging – Channel Dredging,
  • Cabbage Tree Point Dredging.
