Neumann's have over 45 years experience in contract dredging. The first dredge was developed in the late 1950's for mineral sand recovery.
Today the company has manufactured a fleet of cutter suction dredges with varying capacity. These dredges are high technology cutting and recovery machines with a well earned reputation for performance in mining locations and reclamation sites.
The new generation of Neumann dredges are de-mountable and can be cost effectively transported to remote sights around the world.
Dredges have been designed & manufactured for overseas countries eg. Russia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, China, Pakistan, India and Jordan.
These dredges have been successfully used for the removal of sand, gravels, clays, coral, slimes and weathered rock, and mine tailings.
On the home front Neumann's have successfully completed projects in Australia from Darwin to Tasmania.
Operational expertise has been put to the test on a number of occasions. The company has completed more than 100 kilometres of inland canal development on the Gold Coast and successfully dredged a massive 5.8 million cubic metres of sand to complete the opening of the Gold Coasts new seaway entrance and closing of the old Southport bar.
