Neumann Contractors is a family owned business which was established on the Gold Coast by Alfred Neumann in 1949.

The company started out as a sand mining operation, which quickly grew into one of the largest dredging and civil contracting companies along the eastern seaboard of Australia.

Ensuring the future prosperity of the business, Managing Director John Neumann put together a team of highly skilled engineers to deliver a wide range of projects, from bulk earthworks, golf course construction to boutique subdivisions, roads and bridges.

Along with their dredging expertise Neumann's are able to offer a 'one stop shop' package, from land reclamation, acid sulphate soil management to completed canal developments including all civil services.

Neumann Contractors have been very pro-active in their environmental management. Their innovative work and management of environmentally sensitive projects have earned them industry recognition which has been acknowledged with a National Case Earth Award.

Neumann's expertise has evolved through a wide range of civil construction projects ranging in value from $ 500,000 up to $ 25 million dollars.
