Neumann Contractors is a Dredging, Steel Fabrication and Civil Contractor which forms part of the Neumann Group of Companies. Based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, Neumann's has more than 50 years' experience in specialised Contract Dredging and, for more than 20 years, has been operating the Steel Fabrication facility, servicing the needs of the Neumann Group of companies.
Formed in 1948, the Neumann Group is a family owned business which employs over 800 people across our regions.

Dredging
Neumann Contractors' Dredging Division has extensive contract dredging experience in mining and resource dredging, Port development, dredging inland waterways, channel maintenance, land reclamation and beach nourishment. The first dredge was developed in the late 1950's for mineral sand recovery and since then the company has designed and manufactured dredges for a variety of inshore dredging projects.
